Oh it was delicious! Loved the meat pies, turkey tails, and jollof rice. Atmosphere was super friendly, and I loved the music. It was a wonderful, and I would definitely recommend trying it out if you've never had West African food before. Our server was very friendly and helped us pick out food and his choices were great. Loved it 10/10

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about the beet and passionfruit juice I ordered. Maybe the best drink I've ever had. We also got chicken kabobs, meat pies, and peanut butter soup with lamb. Our sides were rice and beans and fufu. You get large portions for the price and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's nicely decorated and they had African pop music videos playing on the TV. Service was friendly but slow. Overall a very positive first impression, will go again!

Came with a group of 10+ people and were treated to an amazing family-style meal. Both staples of jollof rice and fried plantains were perfect-- the rice had the perfect texture and was well-seasoned and the fried plantains were ripe and sweet with a bit of crunch from being fried. We tried beef skewers, chicken and lamb entrees, each of which was cooked just right. They were well-seasoned but also paired well with the tomato-based hot sauce and a slightly sweet relish. We also got some potent ginger juice with the meal (spicy but balanced/good for digestion ). The owner was so lovely and provided excellent service. The interior is spacious with a separate bar area.

I'm rarely on this side of town but I drive here to eat the food. It's so good! And it was my first time trying their plantain fufu and beef okra stew. The phone number on Yelp is different than the actual number. Here's the right one: 7204672329. Just in case u want to order for pick up. Definitely recommend!

Food is amazing, I love coming here and every single time I am always leaving full happy and ready to return. There's usually two teenagers serving and they're both really nice. It's truly authentic and it's disgusting to see some palm colored people being rude about the food because it's not Americanized African food.

I've been looking for somewhere to get some good Authentic African food. So I had to make the hour + drive to get my hands on this amazing food. It beyond met my expectations, the food was perfect & delicious. The gentleman who works at the front was extremely helpful in guiding me through what I should order & was very friendly. Would definitely make the drive to get more sometime!

We had a chicken yaffa plate, beef dibi, jollof rice and fried plantains, all of which was very delicious and expertly seasoned. The lightly grilled onions in the yaffa sauce were especially delicious!
We got our food to go almost on a whim...that would be my one small note of caution, as they are a small, family run restaurant and if you happen to order to-go at the same
time as a dinner rush or when they have a large catering order, you're going to be waiting a LONG time for your order. It'll be worth the wait, but don't be in a hurry!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rob K.Alameda, CA24316Jun 21, 2023
Great egusi (pumpkin seed stew) with fufu. They are in a slightly shabby little mall, but the food was good and the people were all very friendly and accommodating. I'll go here again for sure.

The first time I was here I got The Egusi with goat meat and it was sooo delicious and the love the plantain fufu. I based my order off the servers option on what he would best recommended and the price is perfect for the large amount of food they give you. I'm back for the second time and ordered their okra soup with cow feet and beef and plantain fufu. Another one of the waiters recommendation. This place does not disappoint.
